Quinta da Pedra Cavada Grande Reserva 2012 Red Wine
Quinta da Pedra Cavada Grande Reserva is a red wine produced through the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cão varieties in the Douro region
At the height of 640 meters, in the heart of the "Douro International Park", the DOURO COLINAS project was born. It is in the abrupt transition of the granites of the plateau and the first folds of shale to the river Douro that is, among cliffs and cliffs, the farm with 450ha of which 106ha of vineyard.

CVD - Companhia dos Vinhos do Douro is located on the left bank of the river Douro, near Tabuaço (between the cities of Régua and Pinhão), in Quinta do Cabeço, having a privileged location in the Douro Demarcated Region.

We are inserted in the Green Wine Demarcated zone. We produce White wines, Red wines and Espadeiro.
Quinta dos Ingleses also sells wines from the Douro Demarcated Region.

The unusual combination of the Alsatian grape varieties Riesling and Gewztraminer with the Tr-Os-Montes variety Malvasia Fina created the fantastic Valle Pradinhos Reserva White.

The Ermos Mountains share the landscape with the vineyards overlooking the Douro of the municipality of Freixo de Espada à Cinta, in the Upper Douro. Inserted in a unique landscape, which holds us by the way nature manifests itself. In Freixo de Espada à Cinta, land of myths and legends, is where the Douro River meets the wine, this is where the Douro begins. This beauty is naturally reflected in the Montes Ermos wines

With a bright lemon colour, it is very aromatic on the nose, with vibrant citrus notes perfectly combined with delicate floral hints and a fresh, marked minerality. Harmonious beginning that leads to a balanced wine with a fresh texture. The palate offers lemony and mineral notes and a vibrant acidity that provides great persistence to the finish

This company is based in the beautiful estate Quinta da Silveira, one of the oldest in the production of Port wines in the Douro Superior region, the Municipality of Torre de Moncorvo, and the parish of Adeganha.

The company also owns Quinta do Tourão, with vines of enormous quality, in the same Vilariça Valley, which, due to environmental concern we are preparing for Biological production.

The Symington family, with Scottish, English and Portuguese ancestry has been present in the Douro for five generations — since 1882 — and through the current generation’s great grandmother, the family’s links to the wines of the Douro span 14 generations, to the mid-17th century and to the very beginnings of the history of Port

Quinta da Rede, located in the parish of Santa Cristina, has its oldest historical records dating back to 1484, making it part of the Douro Wine Region even before the demarcation of 1756, carried out by Marquês de Pombal under authorization of king D. José I
