Prats & Symington was founded in 1999 as a joint venture between the well known Bordeaux winemaker, Bruno Prats and the Symington family. It is an independent company specialising in dry red wines which has been at the forefront of the DOC Douro quality revolution and instrumental in driving forward the high quality image of the region.

Monte Velho Red was launched for the first time in 1992, its name comes from the monte located next to the Caridade reservoir, at Herdade do Espor. At the time, the wine boasted the same origin and philosophy as Espor Reserva but was created to reach more people and make daily wine consumption an experience.

Extremely fresh, this wine shows the freshness of the grapes. A very intense, elegant aroma where red berry and plum jam dominate, perfectly balanced with notes from ageing in new American oak barrels. Excellent tannins on the palate, with a long and lasting finish.

Situated in Alenquer, in the heart of Lisbon's Wine Region, Quinta do Anjo extends over more than 120 hectares, surrounding a seventeenth-century site adjacent to a traditional moth cellar.

Producing recognized wine of superior quality, and that is the maximum exponent of the region,
is the motivation of the Cardoso Pinto Family in this project

Casa Agricola de Compostela has, in the production of Vinho Verde, its strategic orientation since the beginning of its foundation. The praise from the wine community, rises from the many awards achieved, stimulating a new course from the 40 hectares of vineyards.
