On the tasting notes, the Taboadella Touriga Nacional presents an intense, deep ruby-purple color. The nose is highly aromatic and complex, bursting with concentrated notes of dark fruits (blackberry, cassis, plum), intertwined with distinctive floral notes (violet), and nuances of spice, licorice, and sometimes a hint of pine or forest floor. On the palate, it is full-bodied and powerful yet elegant, with firm, well-structured tannins and a vibrant acidity, leading to a long, persistent, and complex finish. This wine's robust structure and intense aromatics make it an excellent pairing for red meats, game dishes, and aged cheeses.

Balanced with the fruit clean and alive, Quinat do Carqueijal harvest of 2015 has elegant tannins and it is very fruity. Well-balanced wine, specific of the “Terroir” of the Douro, and a positive ageing in the bottle is predictable for a period of 4 to 5 years after bottling
