For more than three centuries, the Paço do Conde Estate has been owned by the Castelo Branco family. The origin of one of the oldest agricultural enterprises in the country, founded in 1928 under the name Sociedade Agrícola Paço do Conde, is now managed by the current owners, José António Ferrão Castelo Branco, Luís Miguel Ferrão Castelo Branco and Maria Luísa Castelo Branco Schmidt, grandchildren of the founder.

<p></p><p>Herdade do Cebolal is located on the Costa Alentejana, at the southern end of the demarcated region of the Setúbal Peninsula, near the village of Vale das Éguas about 17 kilometers from Cacém and 10 kilometers from the Atlantic.</p>

<p>Hand-harvested in small boxes and carefully selected, the grapes were fermented in traditional lagares at controlled temperature and aged for 14 months in French oak barrels. Limited to just 3,600 bottles, Teixinha Aragonez Red wine delivers intensity and refinement in equal measure, making it an excellent companion for roasted meats, game dishes, and hearty Mediterranean cuisine.</p>
