Quinta da Alameda has about 24 hectares, of which 15 are vineyards. The vineyards are surrounded by an imposing native forest, where an enormous diversity of flora and fauna develops in perfect harmony, safeguarded by the most demanding environmental practices
Quinta da Alameda Parcelas Red Wine is a wine without excesses, where acidity and alcohol are balanced in a fair, fresh and young wine, with notes of red fruit and a light floral flavour of white-fleshed fruit. The palate is smooth and long, pleasant to drink.
<p></p><p>Quinta do Vallado, established in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous estates in the Douro Valley.</p><p>It is located on the banks of the Corgo River, a tributary of the Douro River, right next to its mouth and close to the town of Peso da Régua.</p><p>It belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and remains to this day in the hands of her descendants.</p>
