On the palate, it is elegant and smooth, with a silky texture, great balance between volume and freshness, balanced acidity, and ripe, subtle tannins. The finish is long, revealing the full elegance of the grape and <i>terroir</i>. <p></p><p>Quinta da Alameda Red Wine reflects the tradition, history and origin of the wines from Quinta da Alameda de Santar. Prolonged aging in French oak barrels (400 liters) and two years in the bottle brings out the personality, strength and elegance of a wine that is here to stay.
