<p></p><p>At the end of the 90's, with the development of the activity, João Pedro Araújo's family decided to acquire Quinta da Vegia, in order to start producing red wines.</p> <p>Located in the Dão Region, next to the town of Penalva do Castelo, it currently has 20 ha of vineyards. His mindset followed a careful choice of grape varieties - Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Alfrocheiro and Tinto Cão, Encruzado and Bical - in order to create Quinta da Vegia wines.</p>

<p></p><p>Quinta da Perdonfa Talhões Red Wine has a vibrant aromatic profile, with an exuberant presence of red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, which blend with notes of caruma, ripe flowers, aniseed and tree bark, creating a fascinating complexity. On the palate, it stands out for its regional character, direct and focused, with a presence of fresh floral, spices and slight citrus nuances. The balance is remarkable, with a beautiful acidity that gives it freshness and liveliness, making it flavoursome and captivating. A wine with great personality and structure, which perfectly conveys the characteristics of its terroir, ideal to accompany dishes with strong flavours and for those who appreciate wines with intensity and balance.</p>
<p></p><p>Primado Encruzado White Wine goes well with fresh foods typical of the warmer seasons, but is well prepared to go well with strong dishes, namely baked fish baked fish, cod, some meats and cheeses.</p>
<p></p><p>Produced from old vineyards of Dão, the grape juice ferments in barrels and foudre without temperature control. This is a low intervention white wine, very elegant with crisp acidity despites its density and complexity. Rich and fresh, makes us salivate with its vibrant acidity. Still a young white.</p>
