The Druida were wise men of Celtic origin who sought to attain spiritual balance throught nature's equilibrium. <br />Druida and Vidente wines are just that, a pursuit for balance with the utmost respect for nature. This is a personal project driven by passion for wines, where the grapes are the real stars and winemaking is of minimal intervention. <p></p><p>Doda red wine displays a sumptuous ruby colour and, for a vintage as balanced as 2012, offers floral aromas, dark berries, deep complexity and some body. The wood is well-integrated in the delicate mineral character of the wine. On the palate, it shows intense concentration, with firm tannins and great structure. Its minerality and superb acidity lend the wine freshness and balance, with a very long and vivacious finish its the power of the Douro and the elegance of the D in perfect harmony</p>

<p></p><p>The Quinta Pedra da Cancela is the fruit of the passion for the wine of the Gouveia family. The winemaking operation has been a family activity for several generations, in the beginning they were delivering their grapes at the Adega Cooperativa. In 1999, with the end of the superior studies in Viticulture and Enology of João Paulo Gouveia, son of João Coelho Gouveia, they decide to create their own wine. The vineyards were restructured, others were acquired and a modern wine cellar was built and with a high technology, all respecting the culture of the Dão demarcated region. In 2014 the name of the company became Pedra Cancela Vinhos do Dão Lda</p>
