    The aroma reveals the exuberance of the grape variety Encruzado showing a more varietal nose. More floral at the beginning revealing aromas of fresh fruit, namely apple and citrus with some tropical tropical notes and wild herbs.

    In the mouth, its exuberance is remarkable and progressive. The exceptional balance between acidity and alcohol gives it great elegance. One can sense the presence of citrus fruits, green apple and nuts. His mindset followed a careful choice of grape varieties - Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Alfrocheiro and Tinto Cão, Encruzado and Bical - in order to create Quinta da Vegia wines.</p>

Vila Nova de Tazem (Serra da Estrela sub region) is a terroir where the labels “Textura da Estrela” comes from. This is a low intervention red wine in which we do short pump-overs in the first days of fermentation and then only cap management. Results in a very typical Dão reflecting their genuine terroir and sense of place</p>
