Caminhos Cruzados Reserva Encruzado 2022 White Wine

Caminhos Cruzados Reserva Encruzado White Wine presents a mineral and complex aroma where notes of nuts and citrus stand out with slight notes of well-integrated barrels.
In the mouth it is voluminous and fresh with a lively acidity in a long and persistent finish.
It is a very gastronomic wine with great aging potential.

Under the brand Caminhos Cruzados greatest creative challenges are born. It is the name of the house that jumps to the bottle to ensure that all the wines with this stamp arise, to take us to a new Dão, reinvented in each bottle.

<p></p><p><span>Quinta de Marrocos </span><span>vineyards</span><span> extend up to 180m altitude, on </span><span>terraces</span><span> supported by stone walls. Exposure to the north is one of the key points, favoring a slow maturation of grapes: the altitude offers warm temperatures, the river breeze cools the vineyards at night. The average slope of 80% prevents mechanization, requiring an </span><span>"heroic" viticulture</span><span>. All work is manual, a </span><span>century-old heritage</span><span> that we want to keep, in respect for the age of the vines and the quality of the grapes. The low yields are inherent to this type of vines, without irrigation, in low fertility and a slightly acid pH schist soils.</span></p>
