Situated in the Douro Superior, municipality of Mêda, Guarda district, Poço do Canto is a hard, hostile land, where the vineyard stands out with vigor.

The producer Maria Lucinda Todo Bom is from these lands, of these people, and the family started the production of wine in the 30's and, continuing the tradition, began again wine production in 1990 in the vineyards inherited from her family, Todo Bom.
The story of a wine begins in the vineyard. With an area of ​​15ha, the Poço do Canto vineyards, planted in the shale soil characteristic of the region, have an excellent sun exposure, namely the South, at an altitude of 600m. The vineyard is made up of different varieties that give rise to the wines produced by Lucinda Todo Bom. Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca can also be found.
The young winemaker, Mateus Nicolau de Almeida, started in 2003 to produce a wine of excellent quality, using traditional methods, and the 2004 production "Quinta dos Romãos" was distinguished as the best Douro wine.
