The Douro is actually unique, singular. The wines deserve attention from critics regarding the quality and sales, both domestically and in export markets, have increased. <p></p><p>The Quinta do Filoco vineyards produce the best nectars of the Douro region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The vineyards and the Cellar were being modernized with new equipment, combining tradition and modernity in the well know how to make wine. The vineyards stretched along 130 hectares, surrounded by thickets with typically Mediterranean vegetation that contribute to the unique terroir of the Filoco wines.</p>

Recently refurbished, Quinta do Judeu has an excellent winemaking center, which combines the most modern technology available for the production of fine wines with traditional practices, such as the treading of grapes by Men in granite wineries</p>
