Lavradores de Feitoria, Vinhos de Quinta SA is a unique project created in September 2000 and resulted from the union of 15 farmers, owners of 18 farms distributed in the best Douro terroirs in the three sub-regions (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Upper Douro). At present it is composed of the company structure: 48 shareholders, of which 15 are grape producers, and 19 fifths. Together, they add up to a total area of ​​vineyards exceeding 600 hectares.

These producers - with separate shares in the company's capital, under a single brand, a single wine cellar and a single oenology team - came together to share resources and create synergies in order to achieve what they alone would not be able to achieve. For the first time in the Douro, a group of Douro believers associated knowledge and experiences, innovation and tradition. A joint and united effort that marked a new era for the Douro.
With 19 farms scattered throughout the Douro, Lavradores de Feitoria is able to obtain the best raw material, with grapes of all varieties (even the least known), strains of all ages, planted at multiple altitudes, with different exposures, in a enormous heterogeneity of soils.
