Currently Quinta dos Roques has forty hectares of modern vineyards, which are distinguished from the others by the rationality of the systems of conduction and by the quality of the grapes produced. About 75% of the area is occupied by red varieties, where Touriga Nacional (40%), Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro Preto, Jaen, Tinto Cão and Tinta Pinheira dominate; The remaining 25% are white varieties, where the Encruzado (40%), Malvasia Fina, Bical and Cercial prevail.
