At the end of 2009 Susana Esteban decided to start her personal project with the aim of making wines with a different character from traditional Alentejo.
In 2011 he finally managed to find two parcels of different vineyards and very different personalities: in one of the plots he found a vineyard of Alicante Bouschet of very low production planted in schistous soils, located near Évora and with an optimum climate for the good maturation of the caste. In Portalegre found a traditional vineyard planted in a much cooler area than the rest of the Alentejo. A mixed vine which brings together a wide range of traditional varieties of very low production that adds an unusual freshness and complexity. From the combination of these two parcels was born a unique and extraordinary wine, the "Demand".
In 2012, after finding several other vineyards with ideal characteristics for its project, decided to elaborate the "Adventure", a wine without wood and with a freshness and character accented.
In 2013 he decided to proceed with the preparation of two whites. The "White Quest" grapes come from an 80-year old vine with a mixture of grape varieties, a unique and exceptional vineyard located in the Serra de São Mamede, in Portalegre.
For the "White Adventure" he used grapes from a traditional vineyard of Portalegre, with mixed grape varieties, mixed with a vine of Estremoz whose main variety is the Arinto grape variety.
In January 2016 he was awarded the "Producer of the Year of the Year 2015" award by the prestigious magazine "Wine - The Essence of Wine", for the enormous success achieved with wines produced both nationally and internationally.
