The production of wines is a familiar tradition for Domingos Alves de Sousa: his father (Edmundo Alves de Sousa) and his grandfather (Domingos Alves de Sousa) had already been winemakers in the Douro.

Having experimented with several grape varieties, he selected the ones that proved most apt to produce the best wines of Douro Denomination of Origin, and with them he produced and launched in the market, in the middle of 1992, what would be his first wine: Quinta do Valley of the White Fox 1991, that soon captivated the connoisseurs and deserved the best references. It was the beginning of a journey full of successes that has dragged down to the present day, and that tomorrow we will still hear about it.
