<p></p><p>Casal Garcia was born in 1939, a year in which the vintage was particularly good. Returning by train from the grape harvest in the Douro, the French oenologist Euge Hisse decided to interrupt his journey to Oporto after passing the vines of the Quinta da Aveleda, in Penafiel. The name came about by itself, since the wine was produced from one of the vines of Aveleda: that of Casal Garcia</p>
<p></p><p>A family business with almost two centuries of history that, without ever resting on the glories conquered, has been able to modernize. José Maria da Fonseca has been operating wine since 1834, the fruit of the shared passion of a family that has been able to preserve and project the memory and prestige of its founder</p>

<p>On the nose, Apartado 1 reveals complex aromas of candied orange peel, dried apricot, marmalade, and warm spice, enriched by subtle toasty oak and resin notes. The palate is beautifully balanced — sweet yet fresh, with an unctuous texture, lively acidity, and a long, elegant finish. Perfect with foie gras, nut-based desserts, or enjoyed on its own, this late harvest gem is a tribute to Portugal’s sweet winemaking tradition.</p>

<p></p><p>Since 2005 the company is called Kompassus, and still has a philosophy of wine production based on roots and family traditions. It is dedicated to the production of wines of excellence sustained by organic production methods and sustainable viticulture practices. The company is owned by João Póvoa, an ophthalmologist by profession, but a farmer by passion</p>
<p></p><p>The company was founded in 1926 by Mr. Messias Baptista, who served as chairman until 1973. The management is still held by the descendants of MESSIAS family. <span id="result_box" lang="en" xml:lang="en">Since its foundation</span> that MESSIAS <span lang="en" xml:lang="en">has been producing and selling high quality wines from the main demarcated regions:</span> Bairrada, Douro, Dão, Vinho Verde, Beiras and Vinho do Porto. The company is also known for the high quality of its Champagne method Sparkling wines and aged Brandies</p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>The Pato family produces wine at Quinta do Ribeirinho since at least the 19th century. XVIII. João Pato began to bottle wine from his vineyards in 1970, becoming the first producer / bottler in the region of Bairrada after its demarcation.</p>
