<p></p><p>Quinta do Vallado, established in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous Quintas in the Douro Valley. It once belonged to the legendary Dona Antia Adelaide Ferreira, and still belongs to her descendents.</p>
<p></p><p><span>Casa Ferreirinha and its wines are synonymous with quality, time and art. Thus it has been since the company’s founding in the eighteenth century by Bernardo Ferreira, whose formula was refined by his descendants, especially his granddaughter Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, known affectionately as "Ferreirinha" or "Ferreirinha-da-Régua".</span></p>

<p> The 2011 Torre Do Esporao, mostly Alicante Bouschet, Syrah and Touriga Franca along with some others, has been in bottle for some two years now. This is sensual in its texture, caressing and appealing. Yet, it has plenty of power and backbone. Intense on the finish, it is not yet able to express its fine fruit. Yet, in the long run, it seems sophisticated, balanced and very classy. It should age beautifully, too.</p> <p></p>

<p>Cartuxa Curtimenta em Talha White Wine presents golden in color, it reveals complex aromas of dried fruits, orange peel, herbs, and subtle earthy notes. On the palate, it is textural and distinctive, with firm tannins, balanced acidity, and a long finish that reflects its unique amphora fermentation. With 12.5% alcohol, this wine is best served at 10–12 ºC and pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, grilled fish, mushroom dishes, and aged cheeses</p>
<p></p><p>Vinha da Rosa Rosé Wine reveals a pale pink colour. Fine, delicate aroma. On the palate it's fresh and structured, with notes of raspberry and tropical fruit predominating, with a long finish</p> <p>After careful selection and sorting at the entrance to the winery, the grapes were destemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation took place at low temperatures in stainless steel vats. Part of the blend fermented and aged in used 500-litre barrels.</p>
