The Monte Branco winery is located in Estremoz, Alentejo, where there is the largest concentration of wine producers and has its own natural climatic characteristics, for the production of excellent wines.

Monte das Bagas de Ouro White Reserva is produced from the Antão Vaz grape variety.

The Antão Vaz grape variety was the inspiration, the basis and the reason for this Reserva. Aromatically, it is expressive, intense and enveloping, with a predominance of tropical fruit flavours, lots of freshness and surprising acidity. Aging for 6 months in Hungarian oak barrels gives it complexity and structure, but also elegance and balance. A Reserva that finishes long, that persists and insists on winning us over...

The 2011 Torre Do Esporao, mostly Alicante Bouschet, Syrah and Touriga Franca along with some others, has been in bottle for some two years now. This is sensual in its texture, caressing and appealing. Yet, it has plenty of power and backbone. Intense on the finish, it is not yet able to express its fine fruit. Yet, in the long run, it seems sophisticated, balanced and very classy. It should age beautifully, too.

The Cartuxa rosé was produced from two plots of Touriga Nacional, planted in the vineyards of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. Manual harvesting, with subsequent cooling of the grape to 14ºC, before total destemming and optical choice of berries. After pressing (gravity loading), only the drainage and fraction of the must for drainage and low pressure for the fermentation in stainless steel tank and barrel - 10% of the lot fermented in used barrels, intensifying volume and unctuousness. No malolactic fermentation was carried out. Ageing on fine lees for nine months with regular bâtonnage. It was produced for the first time in 2021.
