<p></p><p>Lua Cheia em Vinhas Velhas is a result of the passion to display the individuality and character that the creators of this project have with the Douro region for more than two decades. After so many years of being surprised by this unique wine region, in 2009 the time arrived to show what they have been seeing in Douro wines. The company's history began in that year with the production of white wines from Murça, an area forgotten by progress, but that produces unique wines with full identity. In 2010, work began on an investment in the winery in Martim, Douro, and in 2012, in the cradle of Alvarinho, Monção region. In 2013, a partnership was started in Alentejo, vinifying, in third party facilities, the grapes chosen and acquired in the region of Estremoz. In 2017, Lua Cheia has extended its presence into other Portuguese wine region – Dão.</p>

The aroma reveals vegetal notes and spices, with a prominent presence of black pepper, along with hints of red fruits, currant, root, and licorice. On the palate, it is described as a well-balanced and elegant wine, with firm yet fine tannins and a long, persistent finish, noted for its pure and flavorful profile. It is recommended to serve this wine between 16ºC and 18ºC. For food pairing, it beautifully complements aged meats, grilled red meats, and game dishes like venison. While enjoyable young, "O Fugitivo Tinta Amarela" also possesses significant aging potential, developing further complexity over time.</p>

<p>Falcoaria is a deep red wine with aromas of black fruit, cassis, dried plum, and subtle floral notes, delivering a complex and expressive bouquet. On the palate, it shows rich fruit flavors balanced by evident oak, with powerful, well-defined tannins that provide structure and persistence. Elegant and robust, Falcoaria Tinto pairs beautifully with spiced meat dishes and cheeses, and it has excellent aging potential in the bottle.</p>
