Quinta da Pacheca is one of the best known estates in the Douro region and also one of the first properties to bottle wine under its own label. It is first mentioned in a document dated April 1738 but it was only in 1903, when Dom José Freire de Serpa Pimentel decided to develop his interest in oenology, began to seriously dedicate himself to the risky business of winemaking. Today, a century and many successes later, a brand-new generation of the Serpa Pimentel family

The history of the 100HECTARES wines begins in the early 70’s.

The estates of the family are the origin of their wines, and the production is made exclusively from grapes coming from their properties, which is at the heart of the family’s production philosophy

The Symington family, with Scottish, English and Portuguese ancestry has been present in the Douro for five generations — since 1882 — and through the current generation’s great grandmother, the family’s links to the wines of the Douro span 14 generations, to the mid-17th century and to the very beginnings of the history of Port

Quinta wines were born in one small plot of the terraces of Quinta de São Luiz. From the vines that have been planted more than 50 years ago, small yield. These wines combine a long ageing period in barrel and the expertise of the winemaker into complex and elegant wines, with an engaging structure.

Churchill's was founded in 1981 and is the only British Port Wine company to be established in 50 years. John Graham, the founder, had thus fulfilled the desire to produce a wine with its own individual style

Casa Ferreirinha and its wines are synonymous with quality, time and art. Thus it has been since the company’s founding in the eighteenth century by Bernardo Ferreira, whose formula was refined by his descendants, especially his granddaughter Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, known affectionately as Ferreirinha or Ferreirinha-da-Régua

Lua Cheia em Vinhas Velhas is a result of the passion to display the individuality and character that the creators of this project have with the Douro region for more than two decades. After so many years of being surprised by this unique wine region, in 2009 the time arrived to show what they have been seeing in Douro wines. The company's history began in that year with the production of white wines from Murça, an area forgotten by progress, but that produces unique wines with full identity. In 2010, work began on an investment in the winery in Martim, Douro, and in 2012, in the cradle of Alvarinho, Monção region. In 2013, a partnership was started in Alentejo, vinifying, in third party facilities, the grapes chosen and acquired in the region of Estremoz. In 2017, Lua Cheia has extended its presence into other Portuguese wine region – Dão.

With about 600ha, spread over 5 farms, the Casa de Arrochella is part of the new generation of D.O.C. Douro and olive oils D.O.P. Trás-os-Montes.
It is in the Upper Douro sub-region, between Vila Flor, Torre de Moncorvo and Foz Côa that the whole wine and olive production project is developed
