<p></p><p>It began almost two decades ago, the passion and pleasure that the people of Quinta do Sobreiro do Cima put in the products that lead to themselves. To the regional development of Trás-os-Montes and the site of Santa Valha and Rio Torto, evidencing the history and wine-growing of these lands, this group allied the identity of its roots to a business project of creation and development of agro-alimentary products of high quality.</p>
<p></p><p>Manuel Correia was born into a modest family, which for three generations drew sustenance from a patchwork in the Douro.</p> <p>Douro Family is a tribute to his roots, to his family, to the men and women who helped to build up the brand, parts of a whole turned into a remarkable product.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Wine taught him about the time it takes for a dream to germinate, grow and gain strength</p>

<p></p><p>The Barão de Vilar - Vinhos, S.A. is the most recent company of Port Wine, having been constituted, in January 1996, from a stock of wines acquired by Fernando Luiz van Zeller, ceded to his two sons Fernando and Álvaro.<br />Its social denomination recovers a nobiliárquico title granted by D. Maria II of Portugal to Cristiano Nicolau Kopke, the 1st Baron of Vilar, in 1836, that, by descent, is in direct possession of the family</p>

<p></p><p>Located in the center of DOC Douro, Quinta dos Murças is characterized for its 8 terroirs, very marked by mountains, different altitudes and sun exposures, schist soils and the characteristic climate of the Douro valley</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta da Pacheca is one of the best known estates in the Douro region and also one of the first properties to bottle wine under its own label. It is first mentioned in a document dated April 1738 but it was only in 1903, when Dom José Freire de Serpa Pimentel decided to develop his interest in oenology, began to seriously dedicate himself to the risky business of winemaking.
