<p>On the tasting notes, the Taboadella Encruzado typically displays a crystalline brilliance with a citrus to straw-yellow color. The aroma offers a complex bouquet of citrus notes, white stone fruits, melon, and often floral overtones, which can evolve into hazelnut, resin, and subtle spice with age. On the palate, it's described as firm and exuberant, with a silky, waxy, and creamy texture balanced by a crisp, linear, mineral acidity. <p></p><p>At the end of the 90's, with the development of the activity, João Pedro Araújo's family decided to acquire Quinta da Vegia, in order to start producing red wines.</p> <p>Located in the Dão Region, next to the town of Penalva do Castelo, it currently has 20 ha of vineyards. His mindset followed a careful choice of grape varieties - Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Alfrocheiro and Tinto Cão, Encruzado and Bical - in order to create Quinta da Vegia wines.</p>

<p>On the tasting notes, O Fugitivo Tinta Amarela typically exhibits a lighter color, characteristic of the grape. The aroma reveals vegetal notes and spices, with a prominent presence of black pepper, along with hints of red fruits, currant, root, and licorice. On the palate, it is described as a well-balanced and elegant wine, with firm yet fine tannins and a long, persistent finish, noted for its pure and flavorful profile. It is recommended to serve this wine between 16ºC and 18ºC. For food pairing, it beautifully complements aged meats, grilled red meats, and game dishes like venison.
