<p></p><p>The company was founded in 1926 by Mr. Messias Baptista, who served as chairman until 1973. The management is still held by the descendants of MESSIAS family. <span id="result_box" lang="en" xml:lang="en">Since its foundation</span> that MESSIAS <span lang="en" xml:lang="en">has been producing and selling high quality wines from the main demarcated regions:</span> Bairrada, Douro, Dão, Vinho Verde, Beiras and Vinho do Porto. <p></p><p>Osvaldo Amado has been making wines for 32 years and for about two years has decided to restructure his life, abandoning consulting to have more time for the Global Wines Group's wines and also to be able to create his own wines, in a style never before marketed. Workshop wines, whether classic or modern, but always differentiated by originality and rarity, produced in limited editions.</p>
<p></p><p>Located in Vilar Seco, municipality of Nelas, in the district of Viseu, Quinta da Teixuga is a 30 hectare property.<br />Located in the heart of the Dão Region, it is surrounded by mountainous massifs, such as Serra da Estrela and Caramulo. This location allows excellent thermal amplitudes for a good maturation of the grapes leading to its slow maturation producing wines with rich aromas and good acidity</p>
<p></p><p>Located between Nabais and S. Paio de Gouveia, right at the foot of the Serra da Estrela and within the perimeter of the Natural Park, it currently has a total area of about thirty-five hectares, of which thirteen with old vines and twenty two with newly planted vineyards.<br />The grapes of the Quinta have been vinified since 1992 in the Quinta dos Roques winery, under an innovative mutual cooperation agreement</p>
