<p></p> <p>Given the producer's passion for Burgundy and German white wines, there are also two small plots with the Chardonnay and Riesling varieties. The viticulture is made in total respect for the environment, without chemical fertilizers, insecticides and herbicides. <p></p><p>Lua Cheia em Vinhas Velhas is a result of the passion to display the individuality and character that the creators of this project have with the Douro region for more than two decades. After so many years of being surprised by this unique wine region, in 2009 the time arrived to show what they have been seeing in Douro wines. The company's history began in that year with the production of white wines from Murça, an area forgotten by progress, but that produces unique wines with full identity. In 2010, work began on an investment in the winery in Martim, Douro, and in 2012, in the cradle of Alvarinho, Monção region. In 2013, a partnership was started in Alentejo, vinifying, in third party facilities, the grapes chosen and acquired in the region of Estremoz. In 2017, Lua Cheia has extended its presence into other Portuguese wine region – Dão</p>

<p>Vilar de Torpim Reserva Red is a wine that reflects the profile of high-altitude reds from the Beira Interior. Crafted from a blend of traditional regional grape varieties, such as Touriga Nacional, Rufete, and Tinta Roriz, it stands out for its balance between the maturation of the fruit and the typical freshness of the mountain climate. The year 2022 endowed it with a good concentration of aromas and a firm structure, with the stage in wood adding complexity without overshadowing the identity of the terroir.<br /><br />The project is signed by the winemaker Jorge Rosa Santos, who uses the Vilar de Torpim brand as a space for interpretation and enhancement of the winemaking potential of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo. Through an approach focused on the natural expression of the vineyard, the winemaker seeks to create structured, elegant wines with a strong gastronomic component. The Vilar de Torpim Reserva Red is a testament to this dedication, a wine that exemplifies the richness and depth of the region's terroir, while also showcasing the unique characteristics of its grape varieties.
