<p></p><p>Prats & Symington was founded in 1999 as a joint venture between the well known Bordeaux winemaker, Bruno Prats and the Symington family. It is an independent company specialising in dry red wines which has been at the forefront of the DOC Douro quality revolution and instrumental in driving forward the high quality image of the region.</p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Quinta São Gião Espadeiro is an excellent wine to be consumed without accompaniment or as an aperitif, with salads, light dishes of oriental and Italian cuisine, based on vegetables, white meats and fish</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta do Ventozelo is one of the largest and oldest Douro Quintas. It has been passing through different hands over the centuries, hands that shaped it and transformed it to what it is today.</p>
<p></p><p>The unusual combination of the Alsatian grape varieties Riesling and Gewztraminer with the Tr-Os-Montes variety Malvasia Fina created the fantastic Valle Pradinhos Reserva White.</p>
<p></p><p>Located in the Douro River valley, in a transitional region right on the border between the demarcated Douro region and the Vinho Verde region, Quinta da Castanheira has always been known for being a property with rich granite soil. The 1000Curvas project thus takes advantage of the best of these two worlds: the typical granite soil of the Vinho Verde region and the influence of the Douro River right there at 2 km</p>
<p>Quinta de Santa Teresa is born from the will to produce an Avesso wine with longer extraction and unfiltered, from a selected vat, chosen for this purpose. This vinifying method allows us to obtain a wine with a certain rusticity, great volume on the palate and high ageing potential</p>
