Quinta Valle Madruga Grande Reserva 2019 White Wine
Citrus yellow colour. Fruity nose and hints of vanilla, fermentation in French oak, with slight ageing and bâtonnage. Round and soft mouth, giving it volume. With an intense and deep aftertaste.
The ancestral family connection to agriculture was the catalyst for the present generation embracing this project. The origin of Eloi Ribeiro´s connection with this project stems from the family history, where his parents and grandparents had always lived on vineyards and olive groves. Today, Tiago and André Ribeiro, his sons, with innovative approaches are the keys of the family in the development of this project.

It pairs beautifully with grilled steak, roast lamb, duck, and slow-cooked beef dishes, as well as more traditional Portuguese recipes such as “posta” or oven-roasted meats. It also works very well with aged cheeses (like cured sheep’s cheese) and charcuterie, making it a great choice for a more gastronomic and celebratory meal.

Invés Las Setas is a single vineyard in the Arribas region of Tras-os-Montes. It is made up of a diverse planting of centenarian bush vines, around 60% of which are red grapes, and 40% white grapes. The red grapes are mostly Tinta Gorda, Bastardo and Mourisco and the white grapes mostly Malvasia Fina, Dona Branca, and Donzelinho. Whole clusters are fermented in lagar, followed by a quick aging in used 225L barrels

Amilcar Salgado, owner of Quinta do Arcossó, is an oenologist and wine producer with great connection to the region where this farm is located, Ribeira de Oura, near Vidago, Trás-os-Montes, in the north of Portugal. It is a region with great wine-growing traditions, dating back to the Roman occupation, in the first centuries of our era

Mentor of the FGwines project, Francisco Gonçalves is also the oenologist responsible for the wines of the Moont'alegre brand. With a vast experience in the vitivinicola environment, he decided to advance to this innovative and pioneering project in Portugal.

It began almost two decades ago, the passion and pleasure that the people of Quinta do Sobreiro do Cima put in the products that lead to themselves. To the regional development of Trás-os-Montes and the site of Santa Valha and Rio Torto, evidencing the history and wine-growing of these lands, this group allied the identity of its roots to a business project of creation and development of agro-alimentary products of high quality.

Flor da Tua Superior contains the intensity, the presence and the strong character of the Douro region. Made from the varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, it is intense and balanced, with notes of red fruits, a long and enveloping finish, revealing all the richness in noble tannins.
