"In one of the most remote areas of the Iberian peninsula, in the area between the Upper Douro and Beira Alta, it was in my family that my passion for the aromas and smells of this land that shaped our character was born.
After having contacted many cultures of living and making wines, in various parts of the globe, I returned to the great Douro valley, convinced that we have the potential to make the best wines in the world.
In respect for nature, for the way we grow our vineyards, my wines reflect my experiences, which smell and know about my land, the shale, the wet granite, the spring, the flowers and the fruits of the field.
It is in my Winery that I make the wines with the character of our 'terroir', expressed by the native grape varieties, which I have a style and an international profile.
