Inspired in the Latin "Anima" - meaning blow, air, soul - it was with the greatest commitment and conviction that the Herdade do Portocarro decided to bring the Sangiovese caste to Portugal. A surprisingly rich aroma and concentration characterize a wine with a different elegance and freshness.

Herdade do Portocarro lies within the demarcated Península de Setúbal.

The name is self-explanatory because it contains all the potential, characteristics and unique terroir of the Herdade do Portocarro, the origin of the whole project
