Quinta da Alorna Reserva das Pedras 2021 Red Wine

Quinta da Alorna Reserva das Pedras Red Wine, produced from the abundant Alicante Bouschet, reveals an intense ruby color. The fresh menthol aroma, which underpins the whole aromatic concept of this wine, transports us to the vineyard location, surrounded by eucalyptus trees. The spicy and dark chocolate aromas are well-integrated into this aromatic profile. The wine presents an enveloping and juicy mouthfeel, showcasing a fat tannin structure. The character and presence of the grape variety are strongly marked in an elegant profile.

The Reserva das Pedras wines are born from old vines planted in the Charneca region. With a mission to respect our history, these iconic vines are planted in soil that the Tejo River has once passed, leaving its mark in the form of rolled pebbles. This has given birth to these wines with an elegant and fresh profile that distinctly express the natural harmony between the soil, climate, and plants. The harvest is manual, in boxes of 18Kg, and the production amounts to 4,200Kg/ha. The wine is 100% Alicante Bouschet and is recommended to be served at 15 – 17ºC. It can be consumed immediately or over the next 15 years.
