Quinta do Casal Branco Red Blend is a DOC Tejo wine crafted from Syrah, Castelão, and Alicante Bouschet, sourced from vineyards aged between 15 and 50 years. The vines are rooted in sandy “charneca” soils on flat terrain, with both south–north and east–west solar exposures that contribute to balanced ripening and complexity. Guided by winemakers Manuel Lobo and Joana Silva Lopes, the wine reaches 14% alcohol, delivering both structure and elegance that showcase the terroir of the estate.
Displaying a deep violet hue, Quinta do Casal Branco Blend Red Wine opens with aromas of wild berries intertwined with subtle spicy nuances. On the palate, it is supple yet expressive, with a smooth, silky texture and well-integrated tannins. A touch of smokiness adds depth, while the fruit remains fresh and vivid throughout. The finish is harmonious and persistent, underlining its balance between power and refinement. This Red Blend reflects the character of Tejo with modern precision, making it suitable for immediate enjoyment while offering the potential to evolve gracefully in bottle.
