The history of the 100HECTARES wines begins in the early 70’s.
The estates of the family are the origin of their wines, and the production is made exclusively from grapes coming from their properties, which is at the heart of the family’s production philosophy
<p></p><p>This Douro red wine is produced with grapes from various vineyards of the Vieira de Sousa Family over 40 years old, with the most varied traditional Douro varieties.</p>
<p></p><p>Teoria is a company that started its activity in 2010. The property is situated in Celeirós do Douro, a vineyard village in the heart of the Douro Valley classified by UNESCO as "World Heritage Site".</p> <p>Teoria's portfolio includes not only red, white, rosé and sparkling wine but also late harvest and olive oil.</p>
<p></p><p>The nobleness of the grape Malvasia Fina associated to the ground and the microclimate of Douro has given this wine personality and a unique character.</p>
<p></p><p>Menin Touriga Nacional Red is a wine with a rich and complex profile, with a good balance between the fruity character where the notes of black and red fruits and the typical floral character of the variety, violet and earl grey, stand out. Powerful and voluminous tannins, it finds finesse through the balanced acidity of the variety.</p>
<p>Fermentation in stainless steel vats for 20 days at a temperature of 15ºC (70% of the batch). Fermentation in a wine press for 7 days at a temperature of 25ºC. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats. Ageing: 12 months in 500-litre French oak casks.</p>
<p></p><p>Curral Telles Alpha Red Wine presents carmine color, bright and transparent. Intense perfume that is especially reminiscent of aromas of red fruits, such as cherry and strawberry. In the mouth it has volume and a balanced acidity. Another enveloping and fragrant Curral Teles Alpha.</p> <p>Winemaking method used by the Romans and Cistercian monks – Whole red grapes trodden for 3 hours in Calcatorium. Then they are pressed in a vertical press and then the must ferments and ages for 8 months in a cement vat</p>
