<p></p><p>Lavradores de Feitoria (a.k.a. Feitoria) is a unique project, created on September of 2000. Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). Nowadays the company has 48 shareholders (of which 15 are producers), and 19 Quintas.  Together, they have a total area of vineyard of more than 600 ha.</p> <p>The goal of this brand has been, since the beginning, to create balanced and elegant wines that age well, having as a starting point the declared commitment with the excellence and tradition of Douro</p> <p> </p> <p></p>

The indigenous varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, for the reds and Gouveio, Rabigato and Viosinho for white, allow them to achieve all the personality and character of the terroirs of the Douro. Combining cutting-edge winemaking with the traditional foot treading in granite mills (lagares), the aim is to produce wines with excellent value money with recognized quality worldwide, international profile and the nature of their homeland. The excellence of the wine culture, the use of traditional varieties, as well as the structural conditions of the region and the human project, has constituted the secret of success. The Douro is actually unique, singular. The wines deserve attention from critics regarding the quality and sales, both domestically and in export markets, have increased. <p></p><p>The Quinta das Tecedeiras is located in the prime area of the vineyard Douro, eight kilometers upstream of the village of Pinhão. In this property with a privileged view of the river Douro, there are memories of a rich history, mainly of the vineyard, but also of the weaved weavers of linen, who gave it its name, and of the olive grove. It is of this inheritance that is valued, are born, of course, DOC Douro wines and Quinta das Tecedeiras Port wines of internationally recognized quality.</p>

<p></p><p>Located in the Roncão valley, a famous site for the quality of its wines, Quinta do Síbio presents itself as one of Real Companhia Velha’s oldest estates. Today the property, extends onto the plateau of Alijó with a total area of 101,5 ha enjoying South and West sun exposure, in between 90 and 550 metres of altitude</p> <p>The layout of the vines follow the level curves and are installed in traditional socalcos made os shist stones, highlighting the heritage of this property.</p> <p>Following a total restructuring of its vines, this charming quinta is one of the most innovative projects in the region, where we implement a vast program to recue some of Douro's oldest varieties, which were in risk of extintion.</p>
