<p></p><p>Real Companhia Velha owns Quinta do Casal da Granja, an extensive vineyard of 160ha, located in the small village of Granja de Alijó. It is also here that are located their modern wine cellars. The Grandjó brand comes precisely from a merger between the two words; Farm and Alijó. This century-old brand, celebrated its one hundred years of age in 2012, being the oldest brand of Real Companhia Velha currently in active</p>

Maria is a very old property in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region.<br />A small but dedicated team of winemakers and winemakers - Sandra Tavares da Silva, Joana Pinhão and Cristiano van Zeller - tries to ensure that each of the wines of Porto or Douro DOC represent the best of what the Region has to offer</p>
<p></p><p>Voyeur is a wine fermented and macerated in clay vats of 1000 litres during several months. In each talha ferment and macerate an old vine from a different place in the Douro. Here the grape varieties are a secondary factor, giving importance to the complexity of the blend, including the white varieties. Vines between 40 and 50 years old, from high areas, with a fresher profile so that they can macerate for months without losing their character.</p>
<p></p><p>Cara a Cara is Joao Silva e Sousa's personal vinic project.</p> <p>Great-grandson, great-grandson and grandson of wine producers in the Dão region, João Silva e Sousa began working in wineries and in his grandfather's vineyards at the age of 15. As a winemaker, he has worked in various internationally renowned houses. He was co-founder of two companies where he created brands such as Castello d'Alba, Lua Cheia em Vinhas Velhas, Andreza, Maria Papoila, among others. He started his personal project with the brand Cara a Cara. He also works as a consultant for wineries in the Verdes, Douro, Alentejo and Algarve.</p>
