Scylla Amphora has a very dark colour and is concentrated in both aroma and flavour, with notes of wild berries, dried herbs and spices. Although vigorous, it is softened by ageing in clay, which gives it a surprising freshness, much more vibrant than you might expect. Young, imposing and full of character, it's a wine that reflects the strength of the region and the complexity of the grape variety
