Barão da Várzea do Douro Reserva Red Wine is made from grapes of the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz varieties from vineyards planted in sandy soils with shale fragments. On the nose it is elegant and expressive, with notes of red fruits, ripe wild berries and nuances of dried nuts. Well balanced in the mouth, soft, silky, revealing vigour through its tannins and a long finish.
