The lagares (granite tanks) are filled with grape and before they are trodden we open the taps and let the juice run off. After fermentation at low temperatures in small stainless steel tanks, the rosé was stored in stainless steel until it was bottled in May 2018</div> </div> <p> </p>

<p></p><p>Quinta do Vallado, established in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous Quintas in the Douro Valley. It once belonged to the legendary Dona Antia Adelaide Ferreira, and still belongs to her descendents</p>
<p></p><p>On the nose, very fresh and elegant with notes of wild berries and black cherries in balance with seductive nuances of licorice, the aroma being complexed by discrete wood notes. In the mouth, it is very concentrated, warm, with firm tannins and soft texture, very intense finish and persists to show strongly the strength of the wines of the Alto Douro.</p>
