<p></p><p>Quinta de Fafide is located on the outskirts of São João da Pesqueira on the River Torto at an average altitude of 550 meters. In this Quinta the grapes reach maturation without any sources of stress, either hydric or thermal, obtaining wines of unusual concentration and elegance.</p>
<p></p><p>The Quinta do Côtto, in Cidadelhe, relatively close to the Régua, is a property of 75 hectares of vineyard and a plot built in the eighteenth century. The owners of the farm, the Montez Champalimaud family, exclusively produced Port wine until the beginning of the 20th century. In 1980 Miguel Champalimaud launched the first Quinta do Côtto Grande Escolha, consolidating the concept of Douro's quinta wines, which are still rare in the region.<br />The Quinta do Côtto brand has grown greatly in notoriety since then, until it became one of the most classic and prestigious references in the Douro region</p>
<p></p><p>Barão da Várzea do Douro White Wine is made with grapes of Gouveio, Viosinho and Arinto varieties from vines planted in fine soils with schistose fragments. The aroma presents citrus notes with sensations of white plum and floral nuances. In the mouth it’s fruity and vibrant, fresh, crisp and young.
