<p></p><p><span>Quinta do Couquinho spans across 70 hectares, of which approximately 60 hectares are cultivated. Filled mostly with</span><span> </span><span>vineyards and olive groves, a small orchard of almond, orange, clementine, fig and apple trees complete the landscape. Located in the Douro Superior area of the Douro Demarcated Region, it borders the Alto Douro Wine Region, the area that was classified by UNESCO as a world heritage site in 2001</span></p>
<p></p><p>Four young brothers from Mesão Frio joined hands to create a wine-producing company that already has 150 hectares, spread over seven farms in the Douro Demarcated Region and launched the first wine at the end of 2011.<br />Roberto, Ricardo, Rafael and Rudolfo, with 33, 29, 26 and 23 years, make up the R4 Douro Family.</p>
<p></p> <p>Palato do Coa started in 2007, when the winemaker Carlos Magalhães challenged 5 of his friends to buy Quinta da Saudade, located in the Douro Superior, Vila Nova de Foz Côa; considered by many one of the best terroir of the Douro region, in Portugal. With the goal to produce the best Douro wines, the estate has 7.5 hectares of old vineyards and 8.5 hectares planted in 2010</p> <p></p> <p> </p> <p></p>
<p>Quinta da Casa Amarela has been in the possession of the same family since the year 1885. The housing, rebuilt and expanded in the first quarter of the last century, lends the name to the property, because of the yellow color with which it is painted . <p></p><p>Lavradores de Feitoria (a.k.a. Feitoria) is a unique project, created on September of 2000. Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). Nowadays the company has 48 shareholders (of which 15 are producers), and 19 Quintas. Together, they have a total area of vineyard of more than 600 ha.</p> <p>The goal of this brand has been, since the beginning, to create balanced and elegant wines that age well, having as a starting point the declared commitment with the excellence and tradition of Douro</p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Poças Fora da Serie Plano B White Wine is produced from a blend of Gouveio and Rabigato from the Douro Superior, aged in 2nd year French oak barrels for 10 months, resulting in a very fresh wine, with saline nuances and well defined and balanced acidity</p>
