We produce wines using NATIVE GRAPE VARIETIES from the Douro region with the aim of expressing the unparalleled richness of this diverse and extreme terroir. The name Grafite acknowledges our WINEMAKERS’ ARTISTIC SIGNATURE in these HAND-CRAFTED WINES.</p>
<p></p><p>The history of the family Vasques de Carvalho has roots as strong as a vine and is confused with the history of the Douro. <p></p><p>The Alves de Sousa family has long traditions in the production of Port Wine. It was up to Domingos Alves de Sousa, a great lord of the Douro, to launch quiet wines in the 90s. Since then, some of the best topos of the region are his responsibility, seconded by his son Tialgo Alves Sousa</p>
<p></p><p>Ferradosa Vinhas Velhas is a white wine with vibrant fruit on the nose, with touches to peach, apricot and some tropical fruits. The wood is present with some aroma of vanilla and smoked. In the mouth, this wine proves to be extremely fresh, appearing an impressive minerality, which perforates the tastes of the barrel, creating an extremely fresh, vibrant and balanced wine.</p>
