<p>Mentor of the FGwines project, Francisco Gonçalves is also the oenologist responsible for the wines of the Moont'alegre brand. With a vast experience in the vitivinicola environment, he decided to advance to this innovative and pioneering project in Portugal.</p>
<p>Herdade Aldeia de Cima Reserva White is a remarkable Alentejo wine made from the Alvarinho and Antão Vaz grape varieties. This wine stands out on the nose for its aromas of ripe citrus fruit, orange blossom and white plum, with a subtle touch of minerality and the discreet influence of ageing in wood. On the palate, it reveals a marked unctuousness and great breadth, resulting in a full, round and harmonious profile. It's a wine with good structure, density and excellent balance, which faithfully reflects its terroir.</p>
<p></p><p>Located in the heart of the Douro, Quinta do Sagrado has 20 hectares of terraced vineyards. The vineyards planted in 14 plots separated by vineyards, in addition to its privileged situation, washed by the river and impacted by all the diversity of the Douro, give Quinta a unique production of quality and high reputation.</p>
<p></p><p>The first ODISSEIA wines were produced in 2004 but Jean-Hugues Gros had already been working in the Douro region since 1999.</p> <p>He has found in the Douro region a wine making potential that allows the development of a wide variety of elegant and versatile <em>terroir</em> wines.</p>
