<p></p><p class="hiddeh1">Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extreme beauty in the heart of Douro valley and owned by Amorim family since 1999. <p></p> <p>At Quinta do Vallado one can often observe three "Melros" - the common blackbird, and the protected species white-throated dipper and blue rock thrush - wich served as inspiration for the name and label of this wine.</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta da Pacheca is one of the best known estates in the Douro region and also one of the first properties to bottle wine under its own label. It is first mentioned in a document dated April 1738 but it was only in 1903, when Dom José Freire de Serpa Pimentel decided to develop his interest in oenology, began to seriously dedicate himself to the risky business of winemaking. <p></p><p>The Port of Quinta do Infantado wines are produced, aged and bottled in the farm, located on the north bank of the Douro, near Pinhão, in the Gontelho sub-region, long known for the excellence of its vineyards</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta do Vallado, established in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous “Quintas” in the Douro Valley. It once belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, and still belongs to her descendents.</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta do Portal is a family fine winemaking company that embraced with passion the “Boutique Winery” concept. They proudly produce DOC Douro wines, premium Port Wines and Moscatel. This project that started in the early 90’s of the XX century, had on its base a centenary estate where this family has been producing Port since the last years of the XIX century</p>
<p>It stands out for its versatility on the table, ideal to accompany red meat dishes such as steak or lamb, pasta with rich sauces and mature cheeses.</p> <p>Fermentation in stainless steel vats at 25ºC for 6 days. Ageing: 6 months in 500 litre used oak casks.</p>

A pure wine with no make-up.</p> <p>The aim of this wine is to show that the Douro can also be the birthplace of great whites. Wines in which you can feel the legacy left to us by our elders and which today allow us to make distinctive wines full of character.</p>
