<p></p><p>Casa Ferreirinha and its wines are synonymous with quality, time and art. Thus it has been since the company’s founding in the eighteenth century by Bernardo Ferreira, whose formula was refined by his descendants, especially his granddaughter Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, known affectionately as "Ferreirinha" or "Ferreirinha-da-Régua".</p>

<p></p><p>The Quinta das Tecedeiras is located in the prime area of the vineyard Douro, eight kilometers upstream of the village of Pinhão. In this property with a privileged view of the river Douro, there are memories of a rich history, mainly of the vineyard, but also of the weaved weavers of linen, who gave it its name, and of the olive grove. It is of this inheritance that is valued, are born, of course, DOC Douro wines and Quinta das Tecedeiras Port wines of internationally recognized quality.</p>
<p></p><p>The Quinta do Filoco vineyards produce the best nectars of the Douro region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The vineyards and the Cellar were being modernized with new equipment, combining tradition and modernity in the well know how to make wine. The vineyards stretched along 130 hectares, surrounded by thickets with typically Mediterranean vegetation that contribute to the unique terroir of the Filoco wines.</p>
<p></p><p>Teoria is a company that started its activity in 2010. The property is situated in Celeirós do Douro, a vineyard village in the heart of the Douro Valley classified by UNESCO as "World Heritage Site".</p> <p>Teoria's portfolio includes not only red, white, rosé and sparkling wine but also late harvest and olive oil.</p>
<p></p><p>Cheda proposal comes when Douro is recognized as a wine region with worldwide value, reinforcing two adjectives for the wines of the region: elegance and balance.</p> <p>Lavradores de Feitoria (a.k.a. Feitoria) is a unique project, created on September of 2000. Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). Nowadays the company has 48 shareholders (of which 15 are producers), and 19 Quintas. Together, they have a total area of vineyard of more than 600 ha.</p> <p>The goal of this brand has been, since the beginning, to create balanced and elegant wines that age well, having as a starting point the declared commitment with the excellence and tradition of Douro</p>
<p></p> <p>Quinta de Valbom red and Quinta de Valbom Reserva red are the two wines that this property produces. They result from vinification in granite lagares and the ageing takes place in French oak barrels.</p> <p>More than just producing one more wine, Luis Duarte's aim is to produce an ex-libris of the douro region, so he is in no hurry to put it on the market. On the contrary, he bets on prolonged ageing and the result is a wine where all the elements are more integrated, more harmonized giving more pleasure to drink it!</p>

<p></p><p>Quinta Nova Reserva Touriga Nacional Red Wine has a deep colour and the dense, fresh scents of the Touriga Nacional awaken our senses. The varietal aromas either send us to the delicacy of violets or show us orange blossom mixed with wild fruits - blueberries and blackberries - in a perfect, harmonious symbiosis.</p> <p>In the mouth, the silky textures stand out where, layer after layer of black fruit, we notice the succulence of tannins well matured by time. Then there's the nerve of the schist geology and the climate where the intense sun rips through the dewy dawns.</p> <p>Touriga Nacional also speaks to us of the freshness and minerality of wet stone, where we are lulled by the sensations of fruit and white spice in a long and precise farewell.</p>
<p></p><p>Marka Reserva final batch was stabilized for a period of 12 months in new and second year barrels. This Reserve should be stored in a horizontal position at a temperature below 18 ºC, decant it at least one hour before drinking.</p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>This company is based in the beautiful estate Quinta da Silveira, one of the oldest in the production of Port wines in the Douro Superior region, the Municipality of Torre de Moncorvo, and the parish of Adeganha.</p> <p>The company also owns Quinta do Tourão, with vines of enormous quality, in the same Vilariça Valley, which, due to environmental concern we are preparing for Biological production.</p>
