In 1980 Miguel Champalimaud launched the first Quinta do Côtto Grande Escolha, consolidating the concept of Douro's quinta wines, which are still rare in the region.<br />The Quinta do Côtto brand has grown greatly in notoriety since then, until it became one of the most classic and prestigious references in the Douro region</p>
