Antonio Madeira, has its family roots in the foothills of Serra da Estrela, Dão sub-region.
Since 2010, Antonio Madeira has been researching in this subregion the locals that our ancestors chose as the best vineyards, those we could call «Grands Crus do Dão serrano»

<p></p> <p>The Adega Madre de Agua - Serra da Estrela is located in the region of Dão, producing some of the best national wines, owners of great quality and elegance.</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta da Biaia is certified for organic production from grape to bottle, which enhances all its unique characteristics and profile, combined with an average altitude of 750 meters giving rise to wines with a strong acidity that is its backbone.</p> <p>No synthetic or animal product is used in the winemaking process. The wines can be integrated in a Vegetarian and Vegan diet</p>
<p></p><p>The quinta da Ponte Pedrinha Touriga Nacional its made on his own vine, on each plot its worked in detail, its about an excellent example of a Touriga Nacional wine from the douro region.</p>
<p></p><p>The Quinta Pedra da Cancela is the fruit of the passion for the wine of the Gouveia family. The winemaking operation has been a family activity for several generations, in the beginning they were delivering their grapes at the Adega Cooperativa. In 1999, with the end of the superior studies in Viticulture and Enology of João Paulo Gouveia, son of João Coelho Gouveia, they decide to create their own wine. The vineyards were restructured, others were acquired and a modern wine cellar was built and with a high technology, all respecting the culture of the Dão demarcated region. In 2014 the name of the company became Pedra Cancela Vinhos do Dão Lda</p>
<p></p><p class="tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small" id="tw-target-text" dir="ltr"><span lang="en" xml:lang="en">MOB was created by three winemakers, Jorge Moreira, Francisco Olazabal and Jorge Serôdio Borges, to make a wine together.</span></p>
<p></p><p>At the end of the 90's, with the development of the activity, João Pedro Araújo's family decided to acquire Quinta da Vegia, in order to start producing red wines.</p> <p>Located in the Dão Region, next to the town of Penalva do Castelo, it currently has 20 ha of vineyards. His mindset followed a careful choice of grape varieties - Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Alfrocheiro and Tinto Cão, Encruzado and Bical - in order to create Quinta da Vegia wines.</p>

<p></p><p>Located in Vilar Seco, municipality of Nelas, in the district of Viseu, Quinta da Teixuga is a 30 hectare property.<br />Located in the heart of the Dão Region, it is surrounded by mountainous massifs, such as Serra da Estrela and Caramulo. This location allows excellent thermal amplitudes for a good maturation of the grapes leading to its slow maturation producing wines with rich aromas and good acidity</p>
<p>Anselmo Mendes Dão is a red wine produced, with the traditional grape varieties of the Dão demarcated region, at Quinta de Silvares located in a rural area near Santa Comba Dão</p>
<p></p><p>Branco Especial is a white wine with no harvest year, which confirms the excellence of Dão in the production of great whites and the guardian potential that characterizes the wines of the region. Wine bottled in 2019</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta da Pellada Muleta reveals ruby colour with good concentration. The aroma is very elegant, slightly floral, with notes of wild fruit and some menthol. The palate is lively and acidic. The fresh fruit and spicy flavours are enveloped in a refreshing mineral profile. It has good volume, without being heavy, offering a fragrant, long and very balanced finish.</p>
