It is a story about wines that transcend time, made in Dão’s century-old mills, and that carry the serene austerity of Dão’s landscapes. The success of these wines, the result of a love and dedication to the earth, is present in the various awards attributed to this wine
<p></p><p>It all started in 1987 when Alice and Paulo were looking for a property that would be their family's Project and where they could make high quality wine.<br />At Quinta da Chocapalha, all elements of the family have a role in creating the spirit of the project</p>

<p></p><p>Quinta dos Termos is situated in the center of Portugal, on the slopes of the South slope of Serra da Estrela (highest mountain of Portugal - 2,000 m), thus protected from the cold north winds and sunny by its exposure to the South, reaching temperatures in the summer sometimes higher than 50ºC, which leads to a higher degree of maturation, giving rise to complex, aromatic wines of good consistency</p>

<p></p><p>Osvaldo Amado has been making wines for 32 years and for about two years has decided to restructure his life, abandoning consulting to have more time for the Global Wines Group's wines and also to be able to create his own wines, in a style never before marketed. Workshop wines, whether classic or modern, but always differentiated by originality and rarity, produced in limited editions.</p>
<p></p><p>Pinhanços is a magic slope that is like a balcony facing the majestic “Serra da Estrela”. Here we have an amazing view of rough cutted ridges that seem like brodery on a towel of an altar that sometimes in immaculated white. On each hill side, a small vilage, a chapel. And small streams wrinkle the landscape, running frightned but quietly slipping to the sea</p>
<p></p><p>Located between Nabais and S. Paio de Gouveia, right at the foot of the Serra da Estrela and within the perimeter of the Natural Park, it currently has a total area of about thirty-five hectares, of which thirteen with old vines and twenty two with newly planted vineyards.<br />The grapes of the Quinta have been vinified since 1992 in the Quinta dos Roques winery, under an innovative mutual cooperation agreement</p>
<p></p><p>Located in Vilar Seco, municipality of Nelas, in the district of Viseu, Quinta da Teixuga is a 30 hectare property.<br />Located in the heart of the Dão Region, it is surrounded by mountainous massifs, such as Serra da Estrela and Caramulo. This location allows excellent thermal amplitudes for a good maturation of the grapes leading to its slow maturation producing wines with rich aromas and good acidity</p>
<p></p><p>Located between Mangualde and Nelas, in place of Abrunhosa do Mato, Quinta dos Roques is well the example of the spirit with which the new Dão is being built. From the early Roques, more than a century ago, the vine and wine are part of the daily life of this family</p>
