The 2 CC wine project is a bold and exclusive venture born from the vision of António Boal and former football star Francisco “Costinha” Costa. Nestled in the heart of Trás-os-Montes, this boutique winery cultivates a historic, 65-year-old vineyard—Vinha do Professor—rooted in granite and quartz-rich soils. With a focus on traditional methods and minimal intervention, the project was created to showcase the very best of Portuguese terroir through rare, handcrafted wines made with care and character.

At the heart of the project lies Segredo 6, a collector’s dream made in ultra-limited quantities and bottled exclusively in magnums and larger formats. Crafted under the expertise of acclaimed winemaker Paulo Nunes, this elegant red blend combines native grape varieties like Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Bastardo, and Tinta Roriz. With extended barrel aging and remarkable finesse, Segredo 6 has earned top honors—including a spot among the Top 3 Portuguese red wines at Essência do Vinho 2024.
