Heralded by its iconic twin cypresses, Quinta de Marrocos is one of the oldest "Quintas" of the Douro. It is located on the left bank of the Douro River, in the Lower Corgo, source of the Port wine Region. For generations it has been the headquarters of the Correia de Sequeira family, and it is the heart of Golddrink's activity.

At Quinta de Marrocos the grapes from old vineyards are still trodden by foot in granite mills, and aged in wooden casks in the estate's quiet cellars. Thus are born Douro and Port wines with great complexity, which have been awarded for its outstanding quality in the most demanding international contests.

Old vineyards are Quinta de Marrocos DNA. Over 100 years old, with more than 8,000 plants per hectare, here more than 50 noble and ancient grape varieties of the Douro grow together. A blend that reflects the wisdom of those who have chosen it, and the need to ensure enough production for survival. This diversity is our heritage, where past, present and future merge! The vineyards have acquired a natural balance over the years,"producing what they can, and not what they want."
