There are 9 grape varieties of Tinta - Trincadeira grapes, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Aragonez, Pinot Noir, Grenache and Tinta Caiada - and 4 varieties of Uva Branca - Arinto, Antão Vaz, Perrum and Verdelho.
