Herdade da Maroteira is an agricultural property belonging to one of the Anglo-Portuguese families established in the Alentejo Region, Portugal, for more than five generations.

Covering an area of 540 hectares, at the foot of the Serra d'Ossa, 20km south of Estremoz and 35km north of Évora, Herdade da Maroteira is dedicated to the preservation of the cork oak and holm oak forest, in a logic of agro-hiss sustainability -pastoral.
Herdade da Maroteira has diversified its productive offer to new areas of business: tourism, both through the two Local Accommodation units (AL) and the Corktrekking - Explore the Cork project, and winemaking, producing the grapes that give body to the renowned wine "Cem Reis".
